Roles & Responsibilities

Based in Pekan Nenas, Johor Bahru, the candidate’s primary responsibility is to carry out remittance services for the Group’s companies. This successful candidate is expected to acquire a good understanding of the needs / flow / operations of all parties to maximise profitability (in remittance flows) so that he/ she can effectively bridge communications between internal and external parties and execute assigned tasks in efficient and timely manner to ensure smooth operations.

There’s a possibility for the successful candidate to convert to permanent staff based on his/her work performance.

Job Duties:

Managing Remittance / Payments with Internal / External Parties

  • To ensure all the remittance / payments have been executed according to requests.
  • To follow up and ensure all payment advice / proofs of payment are obtained and filed electronically.;


Digitization of finance documents & correspondences

  • To ensure all electronic documents and related correspondence are filed in tidy manner / proper naming, and easily accessible by Finance team.

Filing of finance documents

  • To ensure all documents are filed in tidy manner / proper naming, and easily accessible by Finance team.

Preparing payment instructions on various internet banking/payment platforms

  • To prepare payment instructions on various platforms for approval of payment by the Finance Manager
  • To ensure payments are executed in a timely manner.
  • Work done on deadline

Office Support / other duties

  • Any other duties related to the role or as designated by the team
  • To ensure smooth operations of the team.
  • Always standby for any ad-hoc duties and complete the tasks in efficiency manner.
  • Work done on deadline

Job Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM
  • Relevant Experience
    Experience as a bank teller or in positions handling high volume of payments.
  • Must possess some accounting knowledge.
  • Able to use MS Excel, MS Outlook, WhatsApp, WeChat and to properly file documents on computer

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English and Chinese (need to communicate to colleagues in both Singapore & China)
