Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee day to day finance operations to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of finance duties to internal stakeholders. He/ She has to communicate to colleagues in both the Singapore and China operations.

Job Duties:

Provide effective financial management for:

  • Daily finance operations (AP/AR/GL)
  • BRM Financials management reports
  • Financial closing
  • Financial audit

Generate Inventory Report

  • BRM Inventory (familiarise inventory reports and improve the flow of reconciliation between Deskera vs Excel)

Review and Approve Financial Submissions

  • Company GST / Audit / Taxation / Annual Surveys

Manage Cash Flow

  • Company Payments (payment request to trade creditors to be reviewed and released in short time frame)

Perform Trader Functions

  • Company Gold & Silver Trading (familiarise the workflow, record tracking & reporting, including operating on trading platforms)

Job Requirements

Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance & accounting or equivalent professional qualifications

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting (experience within precious metals / commodity trading is a plus)
  • Competency in preparation of management accounts (ERP & Excel)
  • Knowledge in currency hedging
